All industries have to re-invent themselves. Including TV
"Tele-Vision" as a word means perceiving/broadcasting Vision going forward.
Media today has a huge credibility problem.
Audiences want to hear real people, real things, real points of view. They want to form their own opinion. Self-thinking is paramount.
In a society where everything has become so emotionally charged, we need to re-discover dialogue; an ability to listen and put ourselves in another's shoes without judging.
Participatory TV: power to the people - dialogue that unites rather than divides
TV today is forced like so many other industries to re-invent itself and its impact going forward. Offering the chance to evolve from classic broadcasting to shared human experiences.
As we're transitioning from old paradigms to new ones, media can play a critical role in fostering deeper human connections in today's fragmented society. At a time where the call for systemic changes looms large, we need to talk about re-defining or re-discovering cultural, spiritual and personal aspirations that could guide America towards a new kind of prosperity. One, that values personal empowerment & inner peace, natural harmony just as much as material prosperity. Integrating personal empowerment in diverse perspectives can bridge the gap into the unknown of what's ahead of us.
