Elements in us play a role of how we react and go through life. Nicolette went on a journey to capture the essence of the elements in human beings. A portrait of a very special kind.
Air
Knowledge, reasoning, light speed, the ability to fly as well as looking at things without emotions, fast and vast is a quality of the air element. Listening and discerning are at its heart. Innovation is at home in the air element. E.g. technology -- a classic manifestation of Air. Air also entails lightheartedness. The age of Aquarius, an air sign, is linked to those qualities.
Earth
Earth is the connection of all of our life here on the planet. As an element, it represents groundedness. Weight. Limitation. The materialization of spirit. While spirit is air, matter (Earth) represents the physical. Earth as an element in us is a materialized combination of the other three compositions (fire, water, air). If we have blockages with the Earth element in us, it often represents difficulties with materialization.
